About the Event
EHV-1 is the neuropahtogenic strain of equine herpes virus. March 1st, 2021, FEI announced a 28-day shutdown of international events in 10 countries in Europe due to the rapid evolution of the very agressive strain of the neurological form of Equine Herpes Virus, resulting in the death of 12 horses in Europe.
