Braiding Clinic and General Meeting

Our braiding clinic on Sunday, October 12, was a great success! Huge thanks to Mackenzie Perkins for sharing her braiding skills with the club! Thanks also to Board member Whitney Fox and Locust Grove Arabians for being our host for the day. Following the clinic the Fall general meeting was held. The spring show was discussed and everything is in place for a great time for our members and friends coming up in early May! Look for upcoming postings regarding the EIGHT $250 sponsorships we award to first and second year riders! Also, keep an eye out for information about our JACKPOT classes!

Showmanship Clinic 2025

On Saturday, March 15, ESAHA sponsored a free Showmanship clinic for our members. Snook Stables in Weedsport graciously offered their facilities and use of their horses for the clinic. Clinician was longtime club member Sherri Bos, a national level champion. Participants learned about proper attire and tack, positioning and handling of their horse and the importance of self-confidence. Each participant was given several opportunities to work with the horses to practice new skills. Thanks to Sherri for her wonderful presentation and all who came out for this well-attended, fun and informative event!
