The Empire State Arabians Horse Association (ESAHA) held its 35th All Arabian Spring Show at the New York State Fairgrounds, Syracuse, New York on May 4, 5,& 6.
256 horses were entered overall with a record 57 entries for the Sport Horse in hand classes. From the arrival day on Thursday to the closing on Sunday, there was four beautiful days of weather which were in stark contrast to that of last year's show which was cold, cloudy with some rain.
This year beautiful blue glass trophies were awarded to the Champions and Reserves. In addition, several other prizes were raffled off during the show. A Shary Akers framed print, donated by Don and Marcia Swartz, was won by Dr. James Popp of Morgantown, PA. And all those who sponsored a class had a chance to win a $100 Red Lobster Gift Certificate. This was won by Lucy Rutt of Denver, PA.
The Officers and Board of Directors would like to thank all those who help in any way to make this show a success and an very enjoyable experience for all the exhibitors and spectators at this year's show. |
